Green RoomA verified creative network

A room for people who make things across disciplines.

A Baxtage brand on the Mumbai–Dubai axis. By invitation; the founding cohort is being assembled.

The design

A card, an app and a network of lodges, designed to fail without each other.

The Card is the credential, the App is the operating layer, the Lodges are the footprint. None of the three is useful alone.

Front of the Green Room membership card: a dark steel-coloured card with the Green Room wordmark, the label Founding Tier 01 2026, a member name placeholder, the line Member India Mumbai, an etched serial 0001 and an NFC enabled marker
Back of the Green Room membership card: a swipe stripe, a three-line description of the card, the app and the lodges, a charter line, a lost-card line and a QR placeholder

The Card · the credential

A metal card that holds no balance and no payment rail.

Brushed steel, etched lettering and a secure NFC chip paired to the member's identity in the app. It is an eligibility marker and a check-in token, issued only after verification. Tap it at a lodge counter and the session begins. Lost, it is disabled from the app in one tap.

Green Room one-page founding cohort brief: the wordmark, a headline reading India's room for the real creative work, a founding cohort panel, three columns for the Card, the App and the Lodges, and lists of what it is not and who it is for
The one-page founding cohort brief.

The App · the room in your pocket

Mobile-first, with three jobs: discovery, check-in and safety.

It reads the card at the lodge, logs the session, and shows nearby lodges, who is in and when the next session starts, filtered by craft and distance. Every profile is verified. Location and messages are end-to-end encrypted, and a panic gesture sends location and context to up to three trustees.

The Lodges · the room without owning the room

An existing public venue that hosts sessions at quiet hours.

A café, library, bookshop, rehearsal room or print studio that hosts sessions at hours quiet for the venue and useful for the cohort. It carries a small reader at the counter, a published calendar and a fair arrangement for the traffic, and is known by its lodge number. Three types: Standard, Studio and Stage.

The room

For people whose work does not fit one lane.

The connective tissue is taste, craft and ambition, not a single medium.

Artists, producers, engineers, labels

Music and production

A producer finds a film-maker for a visual in the room, not on a marketplace.

Directors, editors, cinematographers, motion designers

Film and moving image

Where a director meets the composer, the stylist and the illustrator on the same evening.

Illustrators, painters, digital and 3D artists

Visual art

The most isolated craft in a city; here the work is seen by people who commission.

Artists, studios and the scene

Tattoo culture

Its own discipline and audience, a full member of the creative economy.

Designers, stylists and independent labels

Fashion

Labels need photographers, musicians and art directors more than another trade show.

Independent beauty founders

Cosmetics and beauty

Real product, real margins, a visual language next to fashion and film.

Founders where culture meets commerce

Creative startups

Turning a craft into a company, with the other crafts as collaborators and first hires.

Builders of tools for creative work

Tech and AI

The software the other seven crafts use next year. Baxtage sits here itself.

The idea

The work happens at the edges between disciplines.

India produces serious musicians, film-makers, illustrators, tattoo artists, designers, beauty founders and people building creative tools. They rarely share a room. Each has its own network, venues and manners, and the collaboration nobody planned happens where those worlds touch. Green Room puts different crafts in the same place at the same time, on purpose.

The product is trust, not content. A member is someone the room can stand behind, and everything from the credential to the venue rules exists to make that trust legible and hard to fake.

The safety layer

The public crowd is the safety layer.

A lodge is never a private members' club. The public crowd is the safety layer: a stranger walking in is normal, so there is nothing to guard. The card is the eligibility layer: everyone tapped in is verified. The app is the accountability layer: every session is logged, and someone specific knows where each member is.

That someone is a trustee. When a member checks in, live location is shared with the friend, partner or family member they chose, and stops at check-out. The cohort might not notice a member has left; the trustee will. That is what makes the room safe for people usually asked to take a community on faith.

Calibration

Three brands, one contribution each.

Not a members' club: three culture brands, one idea from each.

88rising · the launchpad

A collective that became a launchpad

A curated creative house can scale culturally and commercially at once.

NTS Radio · the broadcast surface

A scene that became an institution

Curation plus a regular broadcast builds belonging that lasts.

Brain Dead · the collective as brand

A collective that stayed credible

A multidisciplinary identity can sell without diluting.

What Green Room refuses to be is equally deliberate: not a private clubhouse, not a token, not a chat server with a logo, not coworking.

The studio

The network around a software studio.

Baxtage is a software studio. Its product is SoftSol and its money comes from building things. Green Room is the studio's network, with two jobs. Credibility: a real creative community shows Baxtage has taste, not only code. Distribution: the room is where Baxtage finds the people who need tools built.

The founder splits time between Mumbai and Dubai, the two ends of the axis the room is built on.

The kit

The print and social kit.

If you belong in this room, say so.

The founder keeps a list of people to be considered for the founding cohort. Write one email: what you make, where you make it, one collaboration you would want from a room like this, and a link to your work. The list is not an offer of a place, and there is nothing to pay.
